Happy Hallowe'en
The weather cooperated and it was a perfect night for
trick or treating....even Dora dressed up this year
to hand out the candy. The harvest went well in
the Theodore area and we are looking forward to
the village turkey supper on November 11th.
We are on the pie list and I got my phone
call tonight reminding us of the date.
Glen had a procedure called cardioversion at
the beginning of October. His heart is beating
in rhythm and we are hoping that they will soon
set a date for his hip replacement.
Sadly he received news today that his oldest
brother Bill died. He has been hospitalized for
over two years. Glen will be flying to Ontario
to be with his family at the end of the week.

February is flying by....
The weather has been up and down this year.
At the beginning of the week the wind chills
were in the mid thirties and by Thursday
noon the thermometer was hovering at zero.
This seems to be a pattern...melt and freeze...
melt and freeze...this creates slippery conditions
everywhere...walking, driving...the back deck
looks like a giant ice cube. Hopefully the sun
will shine today and we will have excellent
driving conditions for the Church Circuit tomorrow.
We begin our drive just before eight in the morning
and we return about four in the afternoon. The
ladies in Wadena always make coffee and have some
goodies.
Glen has had some extensive x rays taken of his hip.
We are hoping that he will be referred to a specialist
in Saskatoon. He walks with a definite hitch and the
pain is quite intense.
This week we were both laid low by the stomach flu...
I actually missed two days of school.....it really depletes
your energy.
I have spent the morning gluing sugar cubes to make
a little stand up cross...they work!!!!! The first glue I
tried ate the sugar cube...the tacky glue seems to be
adhering.
Still waiting for the arrival of Grandson #2 in Terrace.
Praying that all goes well for our little family on the
West coast.
Happy Valentine's Day.......
