Valentine Roses

Saskatchewan is still in a deep freeze!
It is a dry cold but a harsh biting wind
is usually blowing. However Love was
in the air yesterday. I arrived home from
my staff meeting to find a dozen red roses
waiting for me. The Theodore Hotel had
a Valentine Special...so we headed there
for a delicious steak dinner.
We are still waiting the arrival of the
Burgobyte....if he does not make an
appearance on the weekend...the plan
is to induce the birth on Monday.
The Bishop arrives on Saturday and
will be doing the church circuit with us
on Sunday.....busy weekend.
Glen is cooking....Jennifer is cleaning!!!!

It's Cold Outside

The Burgomaster household has been very busy
this past month. New routines have been
established...Dora is adjusting to the fact that
Jennifer goes to work each day. She and Glen
have established a daily pattern of their own.
Dora is growing and has graduated to the larger
crate for travel. The good news is that she is
now sleeping through the night. She is an early
riser and likes her breakfast immediately upon
returning from outside.
She has truly mastered the game of fetch.
Dora comes on the Sunday church circuit and curls
up in the various pews with her chew bones....generally
sleeping through Glen's sermons.
We have both been laid low by the horrific
cough, cold and flu that has been making the rounds
in Saskatchewan. Glen has not moved very
far from home this week....lots of hot lemon
drinks and naps with the heating pad. Hopefully
the final stage is the head cold.
The weather has been bitterly cold again....in
fact the wardens decided that it was too cold
for services today.......Next week Bishop Andrews
is visiting the parish and doing the circuit.
We are anxiously awaiting for the Burgobyte
to make his appearance into the world.
The nursery is ready......and so are his
Mom and Dad!!!!!Stay tuned!!!!
