Thank goodness the air conditioner is now in working order. Grandma Jean came for a visit. We lunched in style in Yorkton at the Parkland Tea Room. It has been hot and humid.
A trip down memory lane!!!! When I was a little girl my Mom always planted sweet peas on a trellis by the play house Dad built us in the back yard. Every day we would pick her a bouquet for the kitchen table. This spring Glen brought home a package of sweet pea seeds and we planted them right beside the front door. They are now blooming. They compliment the Nova Scotia Crystal vase so well and both provide happy memories of past times.
Aunt Lu and Uncle Murray came from Kindersley for the Theodore Centennial Celebrations. Kim and Mark's Mom stopped in enroute to Saskatoon. The deck is a great place to kick back and relax on a warm July day.
All the brush that Doris and Mitchell cut away has revealed a garden shed. The said shed was sadly in need of a coat or two of paint. Once the trees were gone it was duly scraped, primed and we gave it the finishing touches! Originally we talked about a red barn with white trim...but the more subtle white with grey trim looks pretty spiffy!!!!! The neighbors are surprised...they didn't even know there was a shed there!!!!!
It all started with a kiss!!!! Andrew and Chantelle are going to be parents!!! The baby is due February 14th. How romantic is that!!!!! We are delighted with the prospect of being grand parents. We pray that the baby will be healthy!
