An ongoing saga at 502 Anderson
is the replacement of the cream
coloured light switches and plugs
with white ones. Who knew there
were so many. One room at a time!!!
The downstairs bathroom has a new TALL
toilet....
The flourescent humming tubes in the downstairs
bedroom have been replaced by a new fixture
more suitable for a bedroom.

Book Gramma Strikes Again
In January I began working as a teaching assistant in
Theodore. One of the pluses for me was that the
school orders from Scholastic Books on a regular
basis. I have been dubbed at the school as the
Book Gramma.
Every month I submit a huge order with Rylen in
mind. I have a bin of books that will see
him into the third grade and beyond.
Mom and Dad have promised that if
Gramma sends them...they will read to him.
Looks as if Rylen likes Gramma's choices.
I love this picture!!!!

Jennifer Had a Birthday Too!
Happy Rylen

Rylen is showing off some new
togs. He is growing up so quickly.
Next week he will be six months
old. Mom and Dad have had to
purchase a new car seat for him
as he has outgrown the infant seat.
Chantelle says Rylen can spend
Andrew's money almost as fast
as she can!!!!!! Gramma and
Grampa love his enthusiasm for
life.
August Already!!!!!!!
We are truly not sure what happened to this summer!
Literally within minutes of classes being dismissed
at the end of June we were on our way to Terrace
to see Andrew, Chantelle and Grandson Rylen. Of
course Rylen charmed us both....even Dave who
flew in from Terrace for the long weekend.
Patrick spent the summer at NASCAD taking
classes...he truly enjoys studying art!!!!
We quite enjoyed trailer travel....our Jay Feather
pulls very easily and is just perfect for the two
of us. The poodles like it too.
Our holidays were cut short due to deaths in the
parish. There were two funerals in the last two
weeks of July and one of our parishioners home
was destroyed by the tornado that touched down
near Kandahar.
Saskatchewan has certainly had its share of RAIN
this summer. Our deck is wet with drops yet again
this morning. Some of the thunder storms have
been really spectacular. The garden produce is
plentiful with all the added moisture. So are the
weeds!!!! Glen rototilled yesterday and I pulled
several bags of weeds, picked beans,
raspberries, zuchinni and beets. It seems that
the asparagus is taking hold and hopefully
we will have a bountiful crop next year.
