February Happenings

During our ministry we traditionally helped with the preparation
of pancakes and sausages for a Shrove Tuesday Supper attended
by the parish. This year we started a new tradition...we made
pancakes and sausages and had our neighbors over to share the
meal with us. The meal was delicious. We have a new griddle
thanks to Aunt Lu and Uncle Murray.
Glen is enjoying his new part time ministry. On Sunday we
slowly made our way to Wynyard as the wind was very strong
and the snow swirling making visibility very poor by times.
By the third service the sky was blue and the roads clear.
The congregations are small but very appreciative. We
found some palms in Wadena and Glen created ashes for the
service tonight in Foam Lake.
A week ago we stopped in at Webers to order a mirror door for
our hall closet. Our niece Kim and nephew Mark have them in their
home and we thought it would really brighten up our hallway.
We came away having ordered new closet doors for all the upstairs
bedrooms and new white doors as well. This week Emil is busy
installing same. It will give the upstairs a fresh new look.
