Renovation Recovery

The house is in recovery!!! It is amazing the chaos that can
ensue from painting and door installation!!!! The upstairs
has been brought up to date...the mirror closet doors have
opened up the rooms! I painted all the window frames
white...two coats of primer and two sometimes three of the
white top coat. Glen had fun stripping the wall paper from
the bedrooms...but the alencon lace shade of taupe looks
great. The white really stands out against it. Glen came
back from Yorkton last week with faux wood blinds...and
Emil helped us install them. They almost have a shutter
look about them. Today Emil installed shelves in the
corner of the recreation room by the fireplace. He is presently
working on the door opener in the garage. Glen will
be thrilled. It seems to take forever to
put things back ....providing I can remember where
they were in the first place!!!!!
Glen is enjoying his part time ministry. Several Sundays the
driving was quite iffy...very poor visibility. What a difference
a week makes...the last few days the sun has been shining...the
snow is melting...there is a veritable waterfall coming off the
garage. Seems eaves troughs will be next on our list.
Today he has a funeral in Wynyard...so we had to locate
the black cassock and surplus. We have modified a closet
in the hall way to hang the LONG vestments. The vestments
go with him on Sunday morning from point to point.
