We have a new hobby besidesgardening...the feeding of the
birds. Over the last few weeks
several feeders have found
their way to our front yard.
The small green seed house was
a Christmas present replete
with Saskatchewan Bird
Identification Book. The sunflower seeds
needed a special feeder as did the
peanuts. The hanging basket/pizza
pan holds the peanuts and
the Blue Jays swoop down and carry
them off. They only like
peanuts in their shells. Orange
slices attract the little yellow
finches and that is who we are
hoping will take up residence
in the funky birdhouse at the
side of the house. Time will tell!!!
