Theodore Blooms

The farmers are in their fields and the Burgomasters are in the garden. It has been a Garden Marathon.
On Monday we planted three apple trees in the garden plot and a bramble berry patch....a row of raspberries, some Saskatoons, gooseberries, black berries and currants and asparagus. Today we were up
bright and early. I cultivated the north flower
bed....it took a great deal of brawn as the ground was
very hard and very weedy, little hostis and peonies
are peeking through the ground. Glen went to the plot across the way and planted potatoes and beans!!!!
The sweet peas are soaking for planting tomorrow.
Needless to say the bones are stiff and sore tonight, but
we feel we have accomplished alot!!!!
