We have had a busy week. We set out on Tuesday morning and drove to Watrous so that Glen could attend a deanery clericus meeting. From there we ventured into Saskatoon and had a visit with our niece and nephew Mark and Kim....our niece Pam and her son Nigel are now residing with the Lobraico's. They have relocated from Salt Spring Island. Pam is working with the Bank of Montreal. We enjoyed a meal together and then attended a lecture at Emmanuel and St. Chad given by a former class mate of Glen's...The Rev'd Dr. Kim Murray. Kim is an excellent speaker...he really engages his audience. On Wednesday we spent the morning with Nigel feasting on Tim Horton Breakfast Biscuits and picked up Kim and Janet at the university and dined in style at Alexanders just a few minutes away.
Our next stop was Kindersley. Aunt Lu and Uncle Murray were very gracious hosts. We shopped and talked. Cousin Gloria stopped in on Wednesday evening and Noreen came for supper on Thursday. We got caught up on all the happenings in their families.
On Friday we returned to Theodore. Today our parish hosted a deanery workshop in Wynyard. We made chili and cole slaw. The parish ladies brought buns, muffins and desserts. It was a great meal. Tonight we are going to a turkey supper at the Insinger Hall with our neighbors.
Busy times.
