October Outings

Last weekend our friends of many years the Revills who now live in
Edmonton stopped in enroute to Manitoba. Jim had a successful
liver transplant about six months ago and he is doing very well. We
trundled up to the Theodore Station on Saturday for the annual bread
baking in the outdoor clay oven. It was delicious bread...we had fresh
bread, jam and coffee in the station and purchased several newly baked
loaves to take home.
The daylight hours are definitely diminishing...and the temperature
is dropping. We encountered fog on the Sunday circuit last week.
The ducks and geese are making their way south. The lake on the edge
of Yorkton is a rest stop....we watched them circle and drop down to refuel before continuing their journey.
